Segment code screen, also known as broken code screen or pen segment LCD screen, is a type of LCD screen. It is a branch of LCD technology with simplified functions and optimized costs. Its characteristics are fixed display content (such as numbers, simple symbols), and the brightness is controlled by preset electrode segments. It has the advantages of simple structure and low cost.<\/p>\n

1. Display principle<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The display principle of the segment code screen is to embed the pattern into the glass through a film mold, and each segment is controlled by an independent electrode to light up and down. According to the arrangement of liquid crystal molecules, the segment code screen can be divided into TN (twisted nematic), HTN (high twisted), STN (super twisted) and other types, among which TN is the most common.<\/p>\n
