JTI's Ploom brand is a product line focusing on new tobacco technologies, including Ploom TECH, Ploom S, and Ploom X.<\/p>\n

2016\u5e74\uff0cPloom TECH<\/strong><\/p>\n

As the first generation product of the Ploom brand, Ploom TECH was launched in 2016. It adopts a pen-style design, which produces steam by heating the liquid in the smoke tube, and then produces smoke flavor by special tobacco capsules.<\/p>\n

This design makes Ploom TECH relatively gentle in taste and smoke volume, more suitable for young women or users seeking a light smoking experience. However, because its working principle is different from that of devices that directly heat tobacco, the taste and smoking effect of Ploom TECH may not be as strong as other heat-not-burn devices.<\/p>\n

2019\u5e74\uff0cPloom S<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a follow-up product of the Ploom brand, Ploom S was launched in 2019. It uses a ring-shaped heating technology similar to Glo, with the heat source being transferred from the outside to the inside to heat the special tobacco.<\/p>\n

Although this design reduces the production of harmful substances to a certain extent, it may lead to inconsistent taste and smaller smoke volume due to the limitation of temperature transmission method. Nevertheless, Ploom S is still Japan Tobacco's first true heat-not-burn e-cigarette product.<\/p>\n

2021\u5e74\uff0cPloom X<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ploom X is the latest generation of high-temperature heat-not-burn equipment launched by JTI in 2021. It uses advanced heating temperature control technology and new heating technology \"HEATFLOW\u00ae\", which significantly improves smoke airflow and suction response, making the smoking experience closer to traditional cigarettes.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Ploom X is also equipped with Bluetooth function, users can check the battery status, lock the device, etc. through the smartphone, further improving the convenience and safety of use.<\/p>\n

JTI's latest heated cigarette device, Ploom X Advanced, launched in September 2023, features an optimized heating system that can increase the maximum heating temperature from 295 degrees Celsius to 320 degrees Celsius, while reducing the time it takes to fully charge the device from 110 minutes to 90 minutes.<\/p>\n
