The corresponding resolution was signed by\u00a0the government.<\/p>\n<p>It\u00a0is\u00a0noted that this is\u00a0being done to\u00a0improve public health and replenish the state budget.<\/p>\n<p>From January\u00a01, 2025, the minimum prices will\u00a0be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A\u00a0pack of\u00a0cigarettes (20\u00a0pieces)\u00a0\u2014 110\u00a0soms;<\/li>\n<li>A\u00a0pack of\u00a0sticks (IQOS)\u00a0\u2014 110\u00a0soms;<\/li>\n<li>Disposable electronic cigarettes (per piece)\u00a0\u2014 from 350\u00a0soms;<\/li>\n<li>Electronic nicotine delivery system, vapes (per piece)\u00a0\u2014 1,400\u00a0soms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>According to\u00a0the resolution, prices for cigarettes and sticks will increase by\u00a010\u00a0soms per pack from 2026 and will cost at\u00a0least 120\u00a0soms.<\/p>\n<p>Import and use of\u00a0electronic cigarettes and vapes will be\u00a0prohibited from July 1\u00a0next year. Earlier, the president signed the corresponding law.<\/p>\n<p>According to\u00a0the document, violators of\u00a0the ban will face serious fines. It\u00a0is\u00a0100 calculated rates for individuals for the use of\u00a0electronic cigarettes, and 200\u00a0\u2014 for their sale. The fines are higher for legal entities: 600 and 650 calculated rates, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Illegal import of\u00a0electronic cigarettes will also become a\u00a0criminal offense. Import in\u00a0significant quantities will entail correctional labor for up\u00a0to\u00a0a\u00a0year or\u00a0a\u00a0fine from 1,000 to\u00a01,200 calculated rates.
