On December 20, 2024, the General Administration of Customs of China announced the export data for e-cigarettes for November. The total export value reached approximately $930 million, reflecting a year-on-year decline of 1.9% but a month-on-month increase of 4.69%. The export volume stood at around 22,000 tons, showing a month-on-month growth of 6.37% and a year-on-year increase of 0.37%. Compared to the previous month's figures, there is a noticeable upward trend.<\/p>\n

According to data released by the General Administration of Customs, in the first half of 2024, China's total electronic cigarette exports reached 5.381 billion, a decrease of 1.82% compared to5.381billion,adecreaseof1.825.481 billion during the same period last year. Despite the decline in total export value, the export volume demonstrated a positive growth trend. In the first half of 2024, China exported 121,000 tons of electronic cigarettes, up from 104,200 tons in the same period last year, representing an approximate increase of 16.12%. This data indicates that despite facing competition and regulatory pressures in the international market, China's electronic cigarette exports continue to maintain a robust growth momentum.<\/p>\n

In November, China's electronic cigarette exports to the United States surged by 16.69% month-on-month, solidifying its position as the largest destination for Chinese electronic cigarette exports. The United Kingdom remains in second place, but may be affected by the impending ban on disposable e-cigarettes, as exports to the UK fell by 22.57% compared to October. The UK electronic cigarette market is expected to face additional challenges in 2025. Moreover, the demand in the German and South Korean markets is experiencing strong growth, while data from other European and American countries shows slight fluctuations but remains generally stable.<\/p>\n
