(previously known as Swedish Match North America, Inc.), for the following snus smokeless tobacco products to continue to be marketed as MRTPs with the authorized claim, \"Using General Snus instead of cigarettes puts you at a lower risk of mouth cancer, heart disease, lung cancer, stroke, emphysema, and chronic bronchitis.\"<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General Loose<\/li>\n<li>General Dry Mint Portion Original Mini<\/li>\n<li>General Portion Original Large<\/li>\n<li>General Classic Blend Portion White Large-12ct<\/li>\n<li>General Mint Portion White Large<\/li>\n<li>General Nordic Mint Portion White Large-12ct<\/li>\n<li>General Portion White Large<\/li>\n<li>General Wintergreen Portion White Large<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is the first renewal of modified risk granted orders issued by FDA. These modified risk granted orders issued by FDA are specific to the above-mentioned products and expire November 7, 2032. These products were\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/wayback.archive-it.org\/7993\/20171114165453\/https:\/www.fda.gov\/NewsEvents\/Newsroom\/PressAnnouncements\/ucm472026.htm\">o<\/a>riginally authorized<span class=\"sr-only\">External Link Disclaimer<\/span>\u00a0for marketing in the U.S. via the premarket tobacco product application pathway in 2015. In October 2019, the products were then\u00a0authorized<span class=\"sr-only\">External Link Disclaimer<\/span>\u00a0to be marketed as modified risk tobacco products.
