Ten vaping companies receive warnings from the FDA in the United States."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"bpp-post-content\">\n<section class=\"mp_profile_iframe_wrp\"><\/section>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">On October 30, 2024, the FDA announced that it had issued warning letters to nine online retailers and one manufacturer, accusing them of selling and\/or distributing unauthorized disposable e-cigarettes designed and functioning similarly to smart technology, including mobile phones and gaming devices.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The products mentioned in the warning letters were marketed with various features and designs that may appeal to young consumers, such as the ability to play games, connect to smartphones, receive text or call notifications, play music, and use customizable wallpapers to personalize the devices.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Commentary: The overly appealing features of e-cigarettes can easily attract criticism for appealing to young people.
